Bringing AD within easy reach

20 years of R&D has resulted in the compact, modular and cost-effective BioWayste system that brings anaerobic digestion (AD) within reach of all but the very smallest of businesses.

At the heart of the BioWayste AD system is our own design of hybrid reactor. Considerably smaller than any other commercial AD reactor, its modular design allows for great flexibility in application. Unlike conventional AD reactors that have significant planning and civils requirements, the BioWayste M60 reactor comes on the back of a truck and only needs a simple concrete pad to stand upon.

Coupled to a self-contained CHP engine, the BioWayste AD system converts waste that previously cost money into electricity that can be used in the factory or fed back into the Grid. Either way, being classified as renewable, the electricity produced qualifies for Government incentives in the form of Renewable Obligation Certificates (ROC) or Feed in Tariff (FIT).

Tying the process together is our small footprint services skid with its integrated SCADA control system. Designed to minimise operational requirements, this system automatically regulates all the parameters necessary to ensure optimal treatment and maximum efficiency.

The unique BioWayste AD process offers a far greener alternative to traditional waste disposal options by creating electricity for use in industrial processes or sale to the Grid. Given that this process can actually provide positive cash flow it truly is the environmentally friendly option to waste treatment.
